i wouldnt think filter oil would be good for the motor. Not sure what it chemicals it contains but i would think it would gum it up. If its still running than it should be ok. Maybe take the back plate off and see what it looks like. Give it a quick clean while your at it. Clean the carb as well to make sure you are not clogging anything. I have always used Hobico after run oil and it works good for me. But any brand will work.
