jep..but still i guess the motor is constructed how it is for a reason. i would have been surprised if that functioned. but ok trial and error is practical procedure in the rc hobby.

the hv motors have a sensor at the rear of the can, with a cord that connects it to the esc. if the sensor doesn't have anything to plug into, it just means the sensor aspect won't work... but the motor still will.
