Video - 09.16.2007, 07:59 PM

finally got a chance to get a video of my crt. the first link is a solo run. As you can hear the landings are pretty hard with the stock shock oil and preload half way down. Have you guys been having to increase the shock oils at all with a brushless setup? I have 1515 2.5/d neu, quark 125, and 4900mah evo25c.

The second video is with a couple nitros.

I'm a noob when it comes to driving but enjoy!

Nice videos! Try heavier oils and more pre-load in the back so it doesn't nose drive.

Nice. Why does it sound like you are landing on a metal roof? And it's like the sound is delayed... weird?

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Nice video's. I could also hear the ntiro's trying to be started, and some randomly shutting off.

glassdoc - the sound is actually from the crt & body hitting the ground so hard. I am thinking of changing the stock 50wt oil to 60 in front and 70 in rear.

Need some advice - 09.25.2007, 09:13 PM

I didn't mention the reason I stopped filming the second video was due to a stripped center spur gear. I've had several runs at the track with no problems, but during this particular time I used a lot of braking to get around the corners. I use the motor brake so I'm thinking the gear stripped because of this?

I need some tips on racing around a track if you guys can help. What should my drag brake be set at?

Since I had to change out the kyosho gear I changed the stock diff oil from 10k to 30k. I'm leaving the front/rear at 5k for now, but I hear most use a thicker fluid in the front(thicker in front help get around corners better?). Also due to the hard landings I changed the rear shock oil to 70wt as well.
