RcMonster diff question

Is this diff drop right into a stock révo????

Because it's alot of $$$ and i want to know if somebody here have it on his revo, and how good is this diffs.

as far as i know they are a drop in if you are using cvds you use the hb diff cups if you are using sliders you use the adapters. you do need to buy two of these to make a complete set. though i dont own them i have heard only great things about them.

OK thank you, i'am to build a bigblock (or brushless, don't know) révo and i want tought diff in it.
But it's a lot of $$$ for just two diff

I have them on my BL Revo. Before I got them I was rebuilding broken diff parts almost every time I ran. Since getting these I havent had a single problem. They are the best Revo upgrade ever made. Worth every penny IMO.

I run mine with the adapters for the stock revo sliders. If you use the adapters for the stock slider driveshafts, you can drop them right into the bulkheads just like a stock diff. Its a little tighter fit but they do just drop in. If you run them with conventional outdrive cups for CVDs you will need to split the bulks to get them in, not a big deal, just a little more work to get them in and out.

I say do it. Rebuilding the diffs is a PITA which you will be doing frequently in a high power big block or BL setup.

Also as far as the price goes... Keep in mind that you are getting a complete hardened HB Diff and Pinion which are $62 by themselves, really the custum machined diff cases are only $63. When you see them you will see that $63 for the custom machined case is actually very fair price. lots of work went into to machining it, let alone the design and development of them.

One thing to keep in mind is that they do change your gear ratio from the stock ratio. The stock ratio is 2.84 (13/37)and the 1/8 are either 3.3(13/43) or 4.3 (10/43) depending on which gear set you select.

I to am running the adapters and stock shafts, Very easy to install and the stockers work fine. The same thing can be applied to UE diffs, I have a set on my Gmaxx with stock shafts and no leaks and workd fine

OK great to ear, but should i take the 13/43 or the 10/43??
Anyways, i'll have to play with clutch bell to find the good ratio.
If i take the 13/43, i probably to run a bigger pinion with a smaler spur, right?

Ok so my question is: If I do go with 13/43 buggy ratio what tooth pinion will I need to run to keep the stock ratio? Or maybe someone has an idea of a good ratio to run. I am going to be running a neu 1515 2.5d with a quark 125b, and then the 1/8th scale diffs(13/43), what tooth pinion and spur should I run?

I didn't try to figure out what pinion you need, because I don't know what your using now (or what stock is)

The only problems with this diff is if i broke the pinion gear or the modify adapter output, it can be a pain to order just this part.

Thats true about breaking a pinion, but is there any other option when it comes to putting a stronger diff in a Revo.

I have been dumping a Neu 1515/2.5d/f (1700kv) on 5s through a set and they have been holding up fine

I've make an order of $500.00 + yesterday just in revo and motor parts, so i'll wait this winter to buy a set of this diff. I'll put RD racing aluminium diff cup and just see how long they'll hold, and when i'll break one, i'll put the RCM diff.

Tell me something about Neu motor, which one will be best suit to run on 4s li-po in my revo??

1515 or 1512?? and which wind ? 1Y, 2.5D ... is i'am better to take a smooth or fined can??? don't know anymore about Neu.
Because this winter i want to buy a 16018 MGM controller and upgrade to a better motor. And i'll put the MM controler and feigao 12L in the crt.5

The Neu 1515/1y (2200KV) will suite you great like i mentioned in your other topic. Finned will probably be better.

Just to be certain now if the fined fit on the RCM revo motor mount
