-That's a 25mm fan, one of those vibro-proof ones. Keep using them for years, never had one break!

-I don't know about the caps, GriffinRU made the Mamba mod. Double stacked boards (in parallel) doubles the current rating (in theory).

No problem. I get them from a swiss mailorder place for electronic stuff.
I will find out the manufacturer and item number for you, I'm sure you can get them in the states too... maybe they are even made there? Stay tuned, I'll post the info here. Those fans are really good, and you can have them in 12V or 5V.
