Well until it is produced.
I am not going to worry.
I will spend the money with others until then.
One day I may have the mmm.

Peace!

I am still awaiting the release of the MMM with anticipation. From my perspective, the delay in its release has only affected the number of them that I will buy. If the MMM had been released two months ago, I'd have at least four of them. If the MMM is released tomorrow, I'll have one MMM and the four other controllers that I have.

I suppose that it's just a case of it being here when it gets here. I'm sure that it'll be nice. As for bashing Castle, I'm sure that no one is sitting around on their hands just letting time go by. Although their marketing plan has left something to be desired, I don't think that anything has been done with ill intent.

Not to "jump on Joe Ford" But if i relied on castle to produce the MMM this summer, i'd have had a bad summer RC wise. I had to get two quark 125's because my MM's were overheating and i don't like fans (one more thing to go wrong , or possibly cut a wire and lose control). I am not bashing Castle, I absolutely love my MM setups (In T4, B4 and academy sbv2 pro). I am disappointed though, that while they were having problems, they failed to keep us in the loop so we might not have gotten so sore at them.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

One thing we all have to remember is that "Joe" works for Castle. He doesn't not own Castle or even run Castle for that matter. I am sure there are plenty of issue's that have been posted in this thead he agree's with. I am sure "Joe" would do things different if he owned or ran Castle. He is only a worker on a giant totam pole. Crap still runs down hill. The one thing I can say about "Joe" is he is loyal to the company he works for. As is every one who posts in the forums. Loyalty in my eyes stands for something. Way to go JOE FORD!!!!

Besides "Castle's" faults you all are going to buy one be it tomorrow or next year. Come on and admit it. Don't be shy about. You are all going to be pushing, bumping, fighting, kicking, swearing at each other to get your hands on one "when" they are released. Did I mention nashing of teeth? Not that I have to after read some of the posts in this thread.

I was gonna say something similar... I think Joe wants the MMM just as bad as anyone... or more so because he's the face of CC for many. He has to keeping dealing with the quesitons. When it finally is here, all that crap is over.

We don't know what's going on behind the magic curtain at CC, but Joe is NOT the one pulling the strings.

Also don't forget he's only been there for like 6 months?... so the MM predates him by a looonnnggggg time. :)

This has been suggested before.. but perhaps CC would be more productive in getting their stuff done if they spent less time on stuff like Burning Man projects and Barbie doll ride-ons. I know it may be a "break" for the guys but it's not good that it actually has been given as an excuse for why the engineers are behind.

At any rate, they will get it done when it becomes a priority for the company... then and only then.

Exactly what I was eluding to...thanks for the backup guys. :) Guys, when it's done, and you KNOW we're going to get it done right, it's going to blow you all away. I don't know who's system is going to come out first, ours or the other manufacturers in this market. But I do know our system will be done "Castle style". You guys have come to expect that from us...we're going to deliver...it takes time to develop things though. Patience is a virtue...

Just so you know...I've been here a "little" more than 6 months...over 2 1/2 years. ;)

Hi Joe,
I know it's a little off topic, but I am sorry to hear about the loss of your employee. I just read the little article in RC Driver about what you guys did on behalf of the Lavender family. What a wonderful thing for a company to do.

Yeah that was a super brain fart... how could I mix up Joe with the new guy? LOL

Patience is a virtue... that depends on the outcome and the point of view. :)

I feel compelled to respond to this. I sincerely thank you for your condolences. The Castle Family lost a truly great employee that day...and an even better friend. It was truly an honor to know Mendi...one of the few people I have known that never let me down and ALWAYS brought out the best in everyone she came into contact with. The world is truly a lesser place...

I don't want to change the thread but I would like ot know what Castle did for Mendi's family. I don't subscribe to RC Driver. I found out what happened to her. Thanks.

Here's the whole thing....

PAY IT FORWARD

Several Castle Creations customers received a surprise gift accompanied by this letter recently - a tribute to one very special employee.

Enclosed you will find the Thunderbird 36 controller that you ordered from castlecreations.com. Please be advised that your credit card was NOT charged for this controller and you are receiving it free of charge.
On July 7, Castle Creations employee, Mendi Lavender, was killed in a car accident. It is in her memory that you are receiving this controller free of charge. Mendi was a strong believer in the "pay it forward" mentality, and at her family's request, the last five controllers that Mendi assembled were sent as gifts at no charge. "Paying it forward" refers to repaying the good deeds done for you by doing good things for other people.
Mendi had beeen with Castle Creations since 2004, and she was the lead production assembler. She was dedicated and energetic about her work in ways that can never be duplicated. It is our hope that you will be thrilled with your new controller and happy that it is a gift to you. Please pay it forward

Sincerely,

Castle Creations Inc.
The Lavender Family

Mendi's husband, Chris, publicly thanks Castle Creations here and reminds us all to "Pay it Forward and have Mendi's spirit live on."
