i have an extended maxx chassis (UE lightning instead of FLM, but i did have the FLM and know they are the same length). my arrangement is a 2s2p pack on one side, and two packs of 3s1p wired in parallel on the other side - for a total of 5s2p. they'll fit, but your best bet is using stretchable velcro strips. i got mine from horizon hobbies. they work great.

i don't have a pic, but can get you one if you want to see it. it's pretty simple.
