It tops out at around 38mph on the street and a little less in grass. It kinda had me wishing for a little more top end, but right now its perfect for a med size 1/8th track, so I think I'm going to stick with the gearing for now. I can always change it later if needed.

That seems kind of low with that gearing? 18/48 is kind of tall? I run 16/46 with a lehner 1940/8 which has almost the same kv and I think that is almost to much for my track!
