I guess I'll stick with the MM for now, since I'm on the tighter side right now budget wise...
I'll go ahead and put one up on order (they've been out of stock for quite a while now...)
If I WAS to get an MGM, I'd probably end up getting the 16024. I'd never use more than 8S (since 8S is two separate battery charges on my charger as it is, since it does 4S max), so I have no need for the 10S capability, though Mike did say that its safer to run slightly under the limits of the ESC (like 7S max on a 8S controller) if you plan to run hard, since voltage spikes under braking can push the ESC too far.
When the time comes, I'll make my decision for that...
Once my Castle BEC gets here, I guess I'll throw my MM into my G2R and give it some test runs. I'm undecided as to whether 4S should be enough for my G2R. Logically, I think it should be, since it is a track vehicle. However, the other side of me keeps whispering 5S so I can have a boatload of power sitting on the side for when I need to pass a certain someone on the straight.
Later on when I have a good bit of spare cash, I will do an HV project. I already have one in mind. It will involve disk brakes, 8S, a 1521 Neu, and probably an extended chassis. When the time comes, I will work very hard to achieve PERFECT weight balance (and by perfect I mean no more than a 10g difference from right to left, and no bigger than 2% front and rear).
Thanks everyone - I'll do a writeup for my CRT .5 ASAP, but I've been busying myself with integrating mechanical brakes on my G2R (more specifically, using the new ventilated and cross drilled Revo front brake).
