Just An Fyi - 10.28.2007, 05:19 PM

I just wanted to share with you guys on here what I posted on the UE site this morning. Now I am only one SuperMaxx enthusiest who loves what we do with these very expensive toys. We need these UE products and without them our trucks are just show trucks. I want to play without worry that I will ruin what I have built knowing that I cannot repair it. So if we show some solidarity and express that need to UE then just maybe UE will pay attention and cowboy up with the products that have become a staple in our sport. So if this really means anything at all to you, then take a minute out of your day and go to the UE site and post your feelings on the matter for Robin and Sam to read, so they know how we all feel. Hopefully this will make them think about how their efforts or lack of is affecting all of us. Now I do not know what the reasons are for UE's lack of SuperMaxx product stocks are, but it is about time for all of the people who have invested their hard earned money into the success of this company and demand answers as to weather or not UE is going to support us or not. If they are then when? If not then we can all stop hoping for a repreave and move on to a different agenda, but at leat we will know what the heck is going on. Here is the thread that I posted.

Hey Robin there is a lot of discussion going on between many of the UE SuperMaxx owners around the world on several sites including this one, and some of the guys are already running scared and selling their trucks because you refuse to share any info with us. All we want to know is weather or not your stocks will be refilled (when) so we can continue racing and bashing our trucks. If we break anything right now we are up a creek without any parts to get the trucks back no track. So is it too much to ask weather or not it is worth keeping our UE gear or not? We all love your products, but if you are not going to keep the stocks up then what is the point? Many of us have invested thousands of dollars purchasing your gear and now we are feeling abandoned. Your parts are definitely the best on the market, but we still break them and need replacement parts to keep our trucks running. So please make the effrot to either set our minds at ease or put us out of our misery with some kind of information about what is going on. We need to know something concrete so we can make a decision one way or the other. Thank you.

well looks like the UE thread you posted in got locked by robin. still wanna stand for what you believe in with that kind of support (or lack thereof)? that's a prime example of what i've been saying, and one of the reasons i got out of UE.

it's robin's sandbox, and he doesn't play well with others. imagine how he would feel if harley stopped making any and all replacement parts for that nice shiny V-Twin he has. i would be willing to bet - no, guarantee - that he'd be the biggest one throwing a fit.

Yes I saw his response, and that he locked the thread out just like they do in the communist countries when the conversation reflects poorly upon them. I sent him a personal email this morning furthering the discussion with him and asking him for some simple answers about supporting his previously sold products to all of us. I will post it as well as his response when he answers it. We consumers have rights to you know. If you provide a product to the public and then stop producing the repair parts for those products, there are avenues for customers to take action in order to get compensation for their losses. There are lagitimate rules that every American compnay has to follow, and repercussions for violations of these federal laws. That is what lawyers are for, and why people file class action suits.

Look I am just like the rest of you out here. A proud patriot of my nation who belives in supporting the people of our country in whatever way that I can. I would just like to see that anyone who may have purchased products from UE in the first place has access to replacement parts as they should have. He is still in business so there is no real reason for him not to continue producing the stock lines, but even more so he should stop playing games with the customers who helped him build UE by purchasing his products in the first place. That is childish, and just plain un-American. because that is where his money comes from (US). If he has lost interest in doing business with the RC community as a whole, then he should stand up like a man and share that decision with us.

You see I am not playing in his sandbox. He may be in control of what goes on within UE, but outside of that we the people are in control. I cannot believe that he is even treating his own customers in this fashion. What in the heck is wrong with this guy?

HI ROBIN.

Ok now I am a little confused. I did not say anything about anyone hating UE. In fact what I said and all of us is saying, was that there are a ton of people even competitors of yours who have stated that you have the best MAXX products on the market. Everyone knows this and that is why we want to buy our stuff from UE. We know it is top notch and will hold up better than anything else on the open market. You produce a high quality product that we just can not get anywhere else. It is not only finely machined, but light weight and professionally polished. That is not a slam it is a compliment to you and your staff for the great job that you do at UE.

The problem is and has been that your site has been out of stock on a lot of things for quite a while now. We are not at all interested in your politics or secrets within UE. No one outside of UE cares about that stuff. All we want to know is what to expect from UE in the near future. Why is it such a stretch just to get a straight answer about when the products will be available to us? Put yourself in our shoes. If you had purchased a brand new Harley and you had broken an axle, and knew that the manufacturer was the only place that you can get the axle. But they were out of stock for 6 months, a year or longer, How would you feel? what would you do?

Believe me the last thing that I wish to do is insult you Robin, but you have a huge R/C fan base that wants to believe in you and know that you are here to support us for the long haul. We are all aware of your newest ventures with making the Harley tank and other stuff, and that is just great for UE. No one begrudges you for that. Who cares about the haters as you call them? It is the rest of us that are suffering for the shortages of parts. We are the ones who want to buy your RC products, because we believe in what you make.

All anyone wants to know is weather or not there is light at the end of the tunnel? There are some people who have been without parts for over a year since their trucks have broken down. Are you working on correcting the SuperMaxx product line stocks, or are you focused on ventures that are more important to your companies survival? We are not interested in your personal endeavors or what new products you may be working on. We would just like to know about the SuperMaxx line and it's future with UE. Nothing more nothing less.

If I have upset you in some way Robin, I apologize Sir, but this silent treatment game is ridiculous. Your customers are not just a bunch of snot nose kids with nothing better to do. We are all paying customers who just whant to buy your products. That is simple business math. So please stop playing with us and give us something that will help us understand what the status is. Thank you for your time. God Bless America.
