I am in the process of converting a XT8 at the moment too. Mine will see some light bashing (back yard, ball diamond etc.) but mostly racing. I couldn't bring myself to run it like some of the guys here do their trucks. I would convert a Revo or a LST for that. Like tallyram said - the Xray's are just too pretty.

Nice, thanks for the input. How about the turning radius? Does the XT8 turn on a dime like the 8ight-T?

even though its too pretty as long as you give it a good clean it should be fine. i would convert some beastly ass savage if i was going to be a pure basher but i plan on racing the thing everry couple weekends im sure.

bashing will get old after a while unless you are finding new spots all the time so racing them will be my thing to do when i get bored!

from what monster mike told me, the steering is as good as the 8t! you should ask him, he's driven both trucks.

Nice - well, it actually doesn't matter. I bought a sweet XT8 off eBay about 20 minutes ago.

Let the revolution begin!!

Seriously though, I'm stoked about it and can't wait to get it.

Thanks! Yeah, I can't wait. This one is very slightly used and has a bunch of upgraded parts on it so I feel great about it. I'll end up selling off some of the nitro parts to compensate for the buy it now price. Here's what I bought:

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. Especially once you add up the option and extra parts that are included. By the way, one of the things that clinched it for me was studying the dimensions of the XT8 vs. the Losi 8-T. They are almost identical. Once I found that out I was pretty confident in getting it. Not to mention the durability issues I was learning about with the 8-T.

Yeah, I will actually be selling both bodies. That new custom one looks pretty sweet, don't you think? I just want to paint one myself though.

Sounds good. I'll be throwing them on eBay next week if I don't hear from you.
