Mike, will motors longer than the Feigaos, like a Neu 1521, fit on the new TVP's? Also, are you still going to offer the center diff option?

Thanks!

I'm sorry for not pointing out, I'm using TrueRc 50mm wide 8000mAh lipo. Also it looks like it would hit the transmission output shaft.

I am also wondering if a TrueRC 8000mAH pack would fit... preferably a 6s pack.

I really like the look of this Savage. From what I can tell, there will be a tranny instead of a center diff? What will the space at the front of the truck between the TVP's be used for?

I'll have a tough time deciding between this and a truggy for a next project...

Yeah Mike, i got it.

Where exactly does the controller go? I think you should make a brace that holds it on top of the transmission.

Doesn't this conversion makes a huge imbalance in weight? An electric motor weights as much as a nitro engine, excluding the batteries.

And is there enough room between the gearbox and the motormount to clear the mechanical brakes?

Mine's better haha j/k, its good to hear that you worked with Jamie on this Mike, the conversion looks very clean indeed and should be a great seller for sure. It does look a little heavy in the rear end though, but I'm sure the controller and misc. items in the front should level it out a bit. Great job.

I just hope Mike doesn't cancel his plans to bring out his center diff design. The FLM conversion doesn't look like it will work with the longer Neu motors.

I wouldnt have thought you'd need a motor that enormous (bigger than XL or 1515) to move the thing, it cant be that heavy surely?

The 1521 works better for bashers than the 1515. I like large tires, Moabs, Big Joes ect. on my trucks and that puts a strain on any motor. The 1521 gives wheelie popping power while keeping things very cool. LOL-I had a set of 8 1/2 inch Jumbo Kongs on and was doing 40 foot long wheelies. I also like to throw on a set of sand paddle tires and go hill climbing. The 1515 I had was at its torque limit and my 1950 Lehner was beyond its limit. Feigao? HaHaHa poor Feigao de-magnetized.
