I got some time to start the project off....

So far i have removed all the nitro related stuff......and modified the servo tray and fitted a steering servo....



And this photo just shows empty chassis awaiting electronics...



More photos real soon!

Well I have done some more work...

After i took the last pics there was not much more work thats required..

Pretty straight forward conversion...but i still have tidy it up a bit as there is wire everywhere!

I still need to secure the battery mount..but when my lipo's arrive it pretty much ready to drive!

I had a short test drive on 12 NiMh cells and everything worked fine....

This first pic shows how i mounted the ESC and heatsink with fans to the center chassis brace..


And these pics give you an idea of the layout of the chassis..




Looking forward to taking it to the track!

Does any one see anything that could be changed/improved?

I would love to here some suggestions as i have never owned a 1/8th scale before!
