Didn't want to kill you with reading but, I suppose I should make a few comments about this all before hand. Yes, I have looked into other options. My second route is to get the traxxas 2.8" rims like they use on the traxxas jato as they are 12mm hubs, the only drawback to this is how wide they are I'm worried about stability/ballooning issues at speed. I could narrow these rims but I can't find any narrower tires that would fit.

Touring car tires would fit too but I would like to have a little more surface area on the ground and 1/8th or 2.8" tires would help keep the rpm of the drive train down a bit.


If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...
