battery/esc question - 01.01.2008, 08:16 PM

If I use a 3s 4000mah li-po w/ my mm esc and Feigao 9xl should I run into any problems?

The battery has a 20c rating

Thanks

The battery should be ok, but motor speeds will be very slow. What vehicle is this going in?

You will need to step up to 4s, and 5000mah minimum 20c battery for decent runtimes.

You could use a 9l on 3s in the tmaxx, if you leave the 2 speed tranny and mech brakes. The lower gearing in first will help the motor move the truck and the speed will be good in 2nd gear. Plus the mech brakes takes the load off the motor and esc, which will help keep the equipment cooler.
