Its really the diameter that matters most. Width is not a big deal.

As many know, a 1/10 2.2" rear truck rim is much wider than a 1/10 2.2" rear buggy rim, but I mounted truck tires onto the buggy rims - I liked the look better, to be honest. It gives it more of a Truggy look (since truggy/MT tires seem to have narrower rims with slightly wider tires). I use these on my CRT .5.

that's what I tought, I just ordered them today so going to soo how they fit! LPR rims are the same width as Standard maxx sized rims and average maxx sized tires are about 3.5in width and the moab xl are 3.4in also but taller so I'm pretty sure they will fit! I'll post a pic once there mounted.

Working on:
Twin CF GorillaMaxx (8S motors on 2x2slipo)

By the way for people who are fanatics about specs like me the Proline are way off in there specs for the MOAB XL.

here are the quoted and real specs:
height: 7.31" -----> real is 7" !!
weight: 220g -----> real is 260g !!!
width is as specs at 3.4"

But I still saved a lot of weight by mounting them on LPR instead of the beadlocks and the tire + rim weight is 320g witch is about the same as a standard e-maxx tire/rim combo! I think this is really a good basher combo as it's not heavy like other big tires and is still 7" tall!!!
