revo 2.5R vs 3.3 for brushless conversion is there a difference? - 01.17.2008, 08:00 PM

Hello all. I just bought that used revo i posted about erlier. its been used 2-3 times and i am payed 150 for it but i am giving back motor gas tank and exhaust. I was told it was a 3.3 but it is actually a 2.5r Are there any differences between the two excluding anything motor related? will it affect my overall brushless conversions finished product? and is it worth less since its not a 3.3? its got a few mods like the almuninum pushrods and such but nuthing crazy

The 3.3 is longer. Look on traxxas's website at both of them right infront of the tranny.

The chassis and steering linkages are the only differences that I know of.

As the 2.5 one is shorter, you can do wheelies easily. Personally I prefeer the 3.3 because in big jumps it has better stability.
