The HV240 sounds even more interesting. It looks like the air controllers with a warter cooler instead of heat sinks. 12s + 240Amps = DAMN!!!

I can't decide if its more fun

or break it...

240A at 50v is some serious power! 12kw (16HP) is a wee bit overkill for land use unless you are using it in a 1/5 scale vehicle or something like that. Could also be used for a moped type of thing.

Better yet, how about the 60A or 120A models priced at $279 and $345 respectively. Makes for a nice HV/low A controller. Even at "only" 60A, that's still 4HP. I wonder if any type of signal translation (pistix) is needed since it's for boat use?

If it aint pistol grip and with no proportional brake, this isn't the esc I want.

yeah, most of the air/boat controllers will need to be used as forward only and with mechanical brakes. Still could be very nice for some conversions.

I was thinking about the daily commuter. Gas is getting expensive!

Most if not all boat escs are set up to use a pistol radio.
