Traxxas center cvd's for e-maxx - 01.18.2008, 06:19 PM

Hi again. I've been busy for a while but now I'm back and almost ready to run.I need new center drive shafts. I'm looking at the traxxas brand PART #4949R on ebay. It says they are for the T-Maxx and the seller said traxxas told them that they will fit on the E-Maxx.The MIP's look like they do not interchange so I'm wondering if anybody knows if they will fit and if they are any good. I've been running MIP's on all of the corners for a year with no problems Feigao 8xl, bk 9920, ubec 14 cells gp 3300, and a spooler in the rear.

O.K. I've got an update. Traxxas part #4949R will not work for the E-maxx. One of the shafts is to short and the drive cup will not fit the output shaft on the trans. The bore is to small in the drive cup. The correct Traxxas # is 4951. 4949R comes with 1 58mm shaft and 1 66mm shaft just in case anyone cared to know.

I must be slightly sexist?

Are you a She?

If so, any chance of some pics of you and your rc stuff? (not trying to be any more sexist here, just interested!)

Nice to see the ladies interested in this stuff.

You and the.wert are the only females I know off on this forum (may just be ignorance on my part!)
