Are any of the cells far enough out of balance that a high cell exceeds 4.2v before the others? Try balancing without charging until each of the cells are equal, then start the charge.

Yeah, if you are going by the percent meter, wallot is right; that is just an estimate. There is no way any device can know the accurate charge level solely by voltage. The best it can do is estimate because lipos do not have a linear discharge curve.


About your other charger. Does it require a 12v DC input? If so, is the power supply strong enough to maintain ~12v and the current required?

yes my powersupply puts out 13,8v and 22ah so it's enough and i can charge my maxamps 8000mah 3s pack at 6ah with that charger but my 2s packs made of the same kind of cells at only 4,2-4,5ah strange ?
