Your symptoms sounded just like mine- I was bitterly dissappointed too. Hopefully Sikes will be the real deal though- different case design sounds promising at least.

I got the Servo's in today!!!

Got them installed and am topping off my Lipo's now.

I set the truck down on the carpet, they will quickly turn stop to stop with no hesitation. Much stronger than the stock ones!

I don't sense any jitter at all.

Looks good so far.

I'll run it in a few minutes. That will be the true test.

These Servo's are GREAT!

I detect no jitter. They are MUCH more powerful AND faster than the stock ones.

I rate them a 10 on the "money well spent" scale.

I'll probably be getting some more soon.

Let us know what you think Linc. Like I said, I don't have any experience comparing servos really. But I can't imagine those $100 each servo's being much better than these. Very satisfied here !

I've got six of these, you can't get better servos for this price. Two of them are running on 7V for over 3 months, they are still working well, have got tons of torque and are fast.

I did some changes and made another run.

I changed the 22 tooth pinion gear over to the 25 tooth mod 1.

Then changed the 40 tooth spur over to the 36 tooth spur.

The AXI 2826/10 motor still handles it fine. Top Speed is noticably greater. BUT........there's the "word" again.

Cogging is there but ONLY on startup. Any rolling speed at all and it's gone. The old 1/4 throttle blip does the trick to get it going.

Runtime is down.......came down from 25 minutes to about 20 minutes
Motor temps are up........probably 150-160 range.
Lipos are pretty warm........100 range
ESC is cold.
Ambient is 58 degrees outside today.

I think the better setup will be the 2826/8 with a 22 tooth pinion/40 tooth spur. We will soon find out.

So, you are going to a higher kv motor and back to the gearing that worked well. What kind of speed are you expecting?

I know, I am lazy, I could plug it into the speedcalc, but I am sure that you have already done that.

I just took my Revo out for a drive. These servo's kinda have me spoiled from running them in the E maxx. I'm gonna get a pair for the Revo too.

They do make a big difference.
