I think Arnold Rimmer said it best: Love is something created by bank managers to make you over-drawn.

I've never had a bird, but I still enjoy myself (that sounds abit risque doesnt it), and my bank account is all the healthier for it too.

I have a good friend who sounds just like you. He is very well off $$$$$ and has never had a serious relationship of any kind. I love him like a brother, and it would be great to see him happily married, but he is quite happy to be on his own. If that makes him happy, then so be it. The truth of the matter is that he has seem way to many relationship not just end up in devorce, but the chaos and torture that goes on when they break up scares the hell out of him. He know my first and second wife and he saw how they treated me in the long run, and I do believe that was scary enough to keep him from putting himself out on that type of limb. My fear for him is just what I said about the train. Your either on it, or your watching it go by. It would suck to be old and barely moving around and realize that you never really knew what love was like.
