Is that a Sharp? Looks kinda like my Aquos. Only thing with plasmas is they supposedly leak and get darker every year and you eventually can't turn the brightness up.

Not quite right, but there is some merit to that.

A lot of plasmas are spec'd with something called lifetime to half brightness or hours to half brightness. In the past couple of years, this spec has crept up into the 60,000 hour range (about the same lifespan as an LCD). So, at 60,000 hours you can expect the Plasma to be half as bright as when you bought it. However, this is still brighter than a standard CRT based TV set. Furthermore, this is the equivalent of spending 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year for the next 15 years watching the TV (or >6 years of the TV turned on 24/7/52). So, basically, it's a non-issue these days.
