Don't count on the dye sticking to the chrome very well from my past experience. Sometimes it works and tints the chrome. Looks nice if you can get it to work.

Well the wheels are brand new and I will clean them very well with plastic prep before they go into the dye.

I imagine that they would/could flake just like chrome wheels do later down the road.
