You are right, but it is nice to have a local shop so you don't have to wait for shipping. I haven't looked at the MMT, but I bet there are more mods for traxxas/hpi/associated.

Well pulled the trigger and now I own a XTM Monster MT. Man this thing dwarfs the MGT we have at the shop. My Neu 1521 and HV110 should do wonders to this truck with 8S and 10S lipo....

Neu 1521 and HV110 are going into this one.....
