Thanks pipeous, I my holding out hope and have a good feeling about rehabing the finger. I've got realy strong hands fron twisting wrenches so the strength is there. I've got feeling (though I'm not sure about how it ends up where the scar tissue will be on the tips of my fingers...) so I'm good there. The only hard part about moving them, is how tight the skin is where it was stiched, and the pins... still no time frame on when they come out.

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

Well the skin will be tight for a while due to the swelling in your hand. Even if it does go down it will hold some of the swelling due to the amount of damage you did to it. That may take a few weeks before it goes completely down and then things will ease up some. Having feeling at this point is really a good sign. That shows promise. Full recovery is always relative to the amount of total damage that is done. Still from the looks of your photos I believe that you will end up with only a small amount of loss. Stay tough and just know that no matter what happens that you are still going to move forward. Positive thinking can create miracles so to speak.

I have to say that I have seen much worse. Do you watch the "Home Extreme Makover" show? The British guy tore his hand up with a cutting tool with a chainsaw disc attached to it. It mangled his hand so badly that he never thought he would regain the use of it again, but he is nearly back to full use and still doing the show as a master carpenter. No worries mate.
