And if you want to protect it even more, get the aluminum front plate. Not only does it keep the dust out, but prevents screws from hitting the coils if screwed in too far. Plus, it helps if you happen to strip out the threads or break a screw.
BrianG, I saw that front plate and I thought it would be perfect for my mechanical brake setup. The plate would act as a spacer to move the motor back to clear the brake rotors.
