True, but I removed the front endbell and drilled/tapped m3 holes in a 25mm spacing. You could have the shaft turned down, or drill out a pinion. I make my own mounts for these motors, so that is not a big deal for me. They are well worth the hassle, considering the price.
I wonder if I could find someone around here who could turn down the shaft and drill the holes for me. Will the kb45 fit the revo mounts with the holes re drilled?
To turn down the shaft run the motor whilst in a vice and use a dremel or something similar with a cutting disc to cut down the shaft.
The KB should fit the revo mounts but the holes may have to be off centre if you wish to use the rear support(neu-they have a similar diameter).
Alternatively you could just make a plate with the 30mm bolt spacing and use that instead of the one included.
