I got all the electronics installed and now I am ready to test this Saturday. Here is how the X3 looks now

The gears are stainless steel. I am worried about wear too. I have run the car in front of my house for a few minutes and I can already see the wear patterns. I have some delrin gears coming with a stainless steel center. That should help with wear.
