I was actually wondering about 5s, but I have no idea what caps are inside. I would bet that 4s WIll work w/ a UBEC. I have been running one on 3s and I think I am going to put a UBEC on it to help it stay cool. It gets kinda warm on 3s as it is. I can't decide if its more fun to make it... or break it... Silent...But Deadly
