Maybe if you totally disable the internal LVC and run an external one it may sync up. Easy way to try is to “disable” the LVC and plug in the 5s pack to see if it engages (obviously you cant run the 5s pack without LVC protection).

the MM has a "custom" setting for the LVC, I have my 4 cell set @ 13.2v

My Jazz or Neu coggs big time after stop and go.. I had Nemesis motor 7xl w/ MM and that thing worked flawlessly. MM barely got hot and the motor was warm to the touch but not hot. MM and Nemesis was about 1/3 the cost of this Jazz and Neu combo.
I think I got the right motor, Neu 1515 2.5 but WHAT ESC? HELP ME!!!!!!!!
I spent about $900 bucks and nothing works. thanks..

You are using the BEC right? Did you remove the RED wire from he controllers receiver plug? I had to do that with my Beat and Smile. I also had an issue like that with a BK 7018, but it went away after I disabled the BEC (Jumper on the BK).

Do I dare say buy an MMM in a few weeks? It's strange that the jaz neu combo cogs. What batteries are you using? I have no experience with the jaz but I am sure some of the guys here can help you get it working. I don't know if gearing could be an issue.
Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

Well, I mentioned the MMM, but the Jazz shouldn't cog. None of my Jazz, Beat or smile controllers cogged.

My MMM comment was a bit tongue in cheek. I didn't think the jazz should cog but I don't really have any experience so I can't say.

It is strange for me too to actaully read that a Jazz is cogging. I'm still learning about brushless as well.

raptor50, go check the CastleCreations threads, there is one called MMM sneak preview...
as for your cogging, do you have the option of changing the timing on it? if so you may need to get it up in the 25-30 degree range (or medium to high) to make it happy with the neu. Something about how slotted/ multi pole motors need higher timing.
then there is the ole' connector malfunction that will make any setup cog, and there is also the potential of it being a glitch that comes up at the highest amp moment (starting moving) you may want to try turning off the LVC for a moment to make sure your not just dropping the pack voltage too low with the higher wattage.
hope some of this might help :) hurts to drop 9 bills on a cogging setup :(
If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...
