Looks really awesome, great work!!

I like the look of those 'H' motors, got one on the way myself. Do you think you could post some more detailed pics of the endbell fan looking 'into' the motor?

Thanks Daf - dude, I gotta tell ya, yours was one of the sweetest conversions I've ever seen and helped me think through a lot of what I was trying to do for mine. Thanks for leading the way!

And you definitely need to update your thread with pics if you have them - I would love to see the latest.

Thanks jordan! I'll see what I can do - the best photo I have so far of the end bell is the one already posted. Maybe I can get a better shot of it for you tonight. If I remember

Here's the best I can do for you:

Now Sower, come on! It only takes 4 screws to get the centerdiff/motor assembly off...

just kidding mate! But your "here's the best I can do for you" made me smile.

Nice motor though.

And yeah, I hear you, next time my truck is clean I'll snap some new pics.

Dude, you're hilarious - and you're actually right. I should have just pulled the dang motor out!! Oh well, I was heading off to work this morning and my car was running in the driveway

Where do i get a Neu with that fan endbell, straight from Neu or what? And i don't mean to get off subject, but can i get some pics of that red Ferrari above your workbench?

I got mine from Diversity Model Aircraft @ flydma.com. It is technically a heli motor when it has that endbell fan configuration and Mike doesn't carry them. I'm sure you can contact Neu for one also.

Ah, the TT-01 Ferrari - my son would be stoked you're asking about it. He loves that thing. I'll see if I have any other pictures of it although I don't think I have any here at work.

Most motors with fans in them will act like a vacuum and it will suck debris isnide them if the holes aren't covered. Might even get the rocks you are thinking about too .

hmm... i thought the endbell would be sealed and the fan over it. Keep us updated on the filter you're going to make for it, as im probably going to have to rip off your design
