As the others have said, it all has to be clean! I have also given up trying to do a neat job. I use the black tire glue and a lot of it for truck tires, thin ca for 1/8 buggy tires.
Belted tires are sweet, got some on my touring car and a set for my 1/8th buggy for speed runs. |
