Just making sure... Regarding CC BEC. - 04.17.2008, 01:08 AM

Alright. So I've read around about how to program my BEC, but I haven't found a solid answer yet. Is it not possible to program my BEC through the MM controller's USB link?

no.

and here is the rest of the words that are necessary for me to post the two letters in "no" and a period. Aparently "no." is too short to be any use on this forum.

No, it is not possible to program the ccbec with the usb cable that came with the mm. You need the castle link. It is a little dodad that connects via the rec plug, and hooks to a usb cable (included with the castle link) to your pc. If you have the casle link software updated it will pull up the screen for adjusting the ccbec.

For what it’s worth (not that lincpimp isn’t the end all of knowledge on here) but I too tried this out first-hand and the answer is in fact no. Same goes for the opposite (programming the MM via castle-link & dongle) no workie too.

End of all knowledge, I like that. It is kind of confusing, though. The castle link is billed to be included on the mm, but it is built in. Seems to confuse alot of people. I only know as I had a mamba25 before the mm and I bought the castle link to program it.
