I used to put my nimhs in the fridge to cool them off. You could try an ice pack, or ice in a ziploc. Just as long as they do not get wet they will be fine.

get to your local computers` shop or radioshack and get a 12v 120mm 80cfm [or more] fan...
will cool two batteries in less than 10 minutes... |
