Anyone confim if they are planning to offer a lower kv motor than just the 2200kv version? From evrything I have heard so far its just a 2200kv now. Not ideal for 6s IMO.
But... If they did all of their testing on a 2200kv motor on 6s and the MMM can still handle it then this should be a seriuos powerhouse controller. Id still like to see motor offerings in the 2000kv and 1700kv ranges though.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Me too, the 2200 kv motor will be great for 4s setups, like an emaxx with a pair of trakpower lipos, or similar. The 1700kv would be great for 6s and the 2000kv for 5s.
I am sure that they will expand their motor lineup, they do have a factory setup to make the motors, right? Somewhere in China? If so it would make sense to expand their product lineup.

Unless something has changed, the plan was to release the 2200kv version first (approx. summer 2008) and then the other motors later.

One of the interviews from RCX said that the 2200kv was for buggies truggies and 1/10th MTs but there would be a LONGER motor for 1/8th MTs

I also would prefer something in the 1700kv range. Right now I am just happy that the esc is about to be released though. I will worry about the motor once the esc gets here.

I actually wouldn't mind a bigger/lower kv motor for the 1/8th MT but also a smaller motor for the 1/8th buggy for runtime. I can always just buy a neu though.

Its alright because an indoor electric track opened up near me. I have been running 10th scale electric and really liking it.
I Will probably even sell off my 8th scale buggy.

I would love for a indoor track to open here. What 4wd buggy you going to run?

The cars I am currently running are listed in my sig. For 4wd I run a b44 but lately I have mainly been running the kyosho rb5 and really liking that car. I will probably keep one 8th scale and use that for the house or messing around at the outdoor track.

Mike should be putting some up for preorder as well. Last I talked to him he is slated to get them on the first production run.

He has done a ton for the 1/8th scale conversion crowd. HE is what has made it possible and I can't think of a better place to buy them.
