I like the hyperion (have a duo myself). IT has a computer interface for firmware updates etc (logging/graphing software coming soon). It measures the battery internal resistance (something the FMA totes as a unique feature), the hyperion has a built in balancer, AND it charges all the common chemistries. For this reason I went from ICE/equinox to Hyperion 0610iDUO.
One of my requirements needed the enourmous power output (for charging HV A123 packs at 10A) so the Duo was a good choice. |
