Put some better tires on the buggy today and took it out for a run. It is hot outside, 90f+ and I am running in grass and concrete. After about 10-12min I stopped and tempsed everything. Lipos very 110, esc was 160f and the motor was about 160f too. I think that I need better cooling, as the body does not really have many holes in it. I have a few space clip on heatsinks, I will give them a try on the motor. Not bad, and the medusa has enough power to wheelly the vehicle. I also have some road tires, may be a bit slicker than the crimefighters I am running. It has tons of traction on blacktop and concrete with the crimefighters...
This buggy is super agile, mainly due to the weight distribution. Turns on a dime, and has plenty of steering!

How are crimefighters holding up for you - especially on concrete/asphalt in a 1/8 buggy. They haven't become slicks in one run?

Suprisingly not, I have run them with a few buggies, and they are holding up well. I have some road rage tires on wheels that I can try, but I like mixed bashing, and the crime fighters seem to work well. Plus they were free from a friend...
