MMM BEC CHANGEABLE TO 6v or 7v

Brian - My though was simply this must be a simple fix if cc are only charing $25 inc handling, fixing, testing and shipping. My hyposthesis is that this is simple component change on the "brain" board rather than on the fets hence we could get a nice how to... Hopefully it is a $1 part from radioshack...

Also if there is enough interest I don't see why CC couldn't do a limited run of 6v from CC MMM for us...

I appreciate a lot of people have a BEC already and can pick one up for 21 shipped and hence "cheaper" to go that route however adds cables and complexity - there are a lot of neat freaks here :)

I would like a 6v version if there was one. I'm a little disappointed with the 5.5. I haven't even gotten mine yet, and I'll have to send it in. Was this done so it would work with low-budget AM radios? That's what it sounds like to me.

Slightly off-topic, but a $1 part from RS is a $0.10 part anywhere else! RS isn't good for anything but cellphones anymore (), IMO, and their phones are too expensive as well!

That is definitely true, but $1 plus applicable tax is still better than $0.10 and $5 shipping.
