Hi,

Sorry for missing in action for last 2 weeks. Trying to get 2 big projects going (oil & gas engineering services). Overworked & underpaid.

Anyway, I hav just tested the truck for 1/2 hour using 15T pinon on 49T spur on 5S lipo & the feigao 7XL. Very impressive indeed. I have also installed light weight gears in the geabox & a heavy duty 2 speed mechanism.

The battery tray held up ok but I felt that 3mm aluminium would be better still (mine is only 2mm).

The suspension of the truck is too soft so the handing was not as what I expected. I need to learn more about suspension setup.

The stock body does a poor job of concealing the battery trays. In fact, the trays are not covered at all. The HUMMER (spelling?) body is wide enough but sits too tall because the front LST shocks need to be accommodated.

Serum, do tell us more about your project. I am highly interested.

Regards,
Joe Ling
