They took a different aproach with the Losi 8ight having the motor and battery on the same side

They did that because they just used the nitro motor mount holes in the chassis for their motor mount. They did that on all of the novak kits. Not really a well thought out approch IMO. They just slapped it in however it fit easiest. No consideration for balance or maintenence.

Love that factory motor fan... How about a motor that doesnt overheat so you dont need a fan.
