In my opinion it is not meant to replace real gym workouts. It may get people started on the right track to try working out. Mine arrived yesterday and I used it for about 20 minutes (not including the time wasted in the setup if th Mii) and it is a interesting concept. Nintendo actually did a decent job on it. The BMI test called me obese (I'm not fat...I'm big boned) but who cares.

The balance games are interesting. Just a slight change in balance can affect your rating in each game. It can get tricky. Sure it's just a bunch mini-games but if you stop and think about it the game is having you stand/lean in specific positions for set lengths of time or doing repeated motions. This all works muscles holding the positions.

so i played the wii fit today and i gotta say... it was pretty fun.

we had it out in the living room and it had a bunch of different games. i bet if you got a bunch of freinds over it would be even funner.

I dont have one yet but I will be picking one up for my girl. I tried to the other day but walmart sold out before I got there.

My brother got one for his wife and kids and they like it. So we will try it out. It cant hurt and well maybe it will help me get a little extra cushioning off.

i did that yoga tree one and it was quite hard. imagine a 40 year old man doing it. would def be a good workout for him.

well I am not 40 but I am closer to that then I am to a skinny teenager like yourself. :) I would say I was in shape until about 28(actually had to eat extra to keep on weight) then well nature kicked in and I gained another 20lbs.
