I like the other idea myself. If it really looks like you will not get to them for more than three months, then sell them off and let someone else get some use out of them. By the time you get resettled and get back to running your R/C stuff Lipo packs will have evolved and probably gotten a little bit cheaper. Plus who knows what power or shape your lipos may be in at that point. Why gamble with that much money? If your on the move for a year then you can start fresh at that point.
