Conventional wisdom says to remove the pack from the vehicle, but if you know the risks, go ahead. I do the same when in the field. At home, I charge in the sack on my bench.

I bought the sack and have yet to use it. My only precaution is I charge them on a old porcelain plate instead of on the floor like other batts. Right now, all mine are laying on the sack, so Im getting some use out if it, lol!

I 've had several puff , but it was a storage issue. I also punctured one while playing on a trash pile, but managed to save my truck.
