Just tried riceman's method, and so far it is holding great. I haven't run the truck yet, but just from flexing the body, I can tell that it should help up good. Thanks a lot for the tip!

+1 for SheoGoo and drywall tape! Hands down the best method.
Use it on weak spots to reinforce the body, before you use it, and your nice bodies will last for a long time.
