Hay John..
I'm using the “recommended” 1.5 in the front and 1.3 in the rears, rebound set at 50% on both front and rear shocks, oil is 600cST in the front and 350cST in the rear, this is the oil that came in the kit. My gut says put in 50 in the fronts and 40 in the rears?? But for now this I’ve got.

It’s interesting with what your saying regarding diff oils, I’ve read several of the x-ray threads, asked around and decided on originally going with the 7000 in the fronts and 3000 in the rear, most of the threads are recommending a 5k & 5k approach, but yet you’ve had luck with a 1k – 2k??, I was going to redo them with 5k&5k but should I now consider 2k-1k as another option??. I'm running a track that’s clay, the average lap time is 28sec, I’ve got a 1512 2d, mgm 12012 and PQ 4s 30C 4500mAH, I’ll be turning some rpm’s so don’t I want / need thicker oil?.

The height is another tec issue I'm actually looking forward to learning about, believe it or not I'm actually look at picking up a Hudy 1/8th off-road set-up system with droop blocks, gauges, set-up board, etc. I'm thinking that all of this crap should get me setup correctly!!. And now that I’ve got the XB8 I’ve got two buggy’s that I can useon it. Yeah that helps me justify the new purchase / not to feel guilty

I'm planning on striping this thing down in about two month 10 /15 days at the track (if it last that long without breaking?), to check everything, change oils, and others goodies But until that happens I was thinking of going up one size on the springs and changing oil weights, maybe going to a 1.4 in the front and keeping a 1.3 in the rear?? To many dam things to things to thing about.. Maybe I should just concentrate on my driving for now..

Have a great weekend John and thanks so much for your time.

Shaun.

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..
