good find, I'll have to take a look at the Hyper ST. The price is really nice ($460 for the pro kit) and looks like a real tank, but high quality racer. Hadn't given that truck a thought till now.

Seems like it could be a very competitive racer, but with enough durability and low cost for a new racer. But for the "desirability factor," it would have outscored the 8T and the Xray. :)

The only thing I don't really like about it are the shocks. Preload clips and plastic end caps. These are easily correctable tho for cheap on ebay.

I really want to see how the new CRT X2 does. These two seem to be the leaders on my list for a new truggy.

I know the feeling that's where I'm headed - Shame they didn't do threaded bodies on ST but given all accounts it is really reliable so if it works I guess it is fine...

Looks like the ST can be had for about 425... I figure the CRT X2 won't be out in pro format for a few months and will be over 550... That difference almost buys a MMM...

Decisions but given I'm compulsive I might go for the ST...

Finnster - Rang ofna X2CRT should be out in a month - Torn as to what to do - The hyper ST looks really nice but parts availability seems shakey on tower...

On the other hand they say you don't need parts because it doesn't break...

Hyper ST parts

Seems like most are listed under the hyper 8. Altho alot of parts are OOS, the list seems pretty comprehensive

I did see the the X2 for the 28th. I haven't seen prices than other in the UK. I saw 350 quid. I can't imagine it would cost that here tho. Maybe $550-600 I hope.

Edit: just read your post closer. If 550 is for the RTR that kinda sucks. I really only want a pro version rather than nitro crap to resell.

The OOS and mid June etc for basic things like arms worries me a little.

Re x2 Normally I think the RTR and Pro are about the same price.... I think 550 is a resonable price but thats 125 more thatn the hyper....

Argh.... Decisions decisions...

Check out rc nitro hobbies ebay store. He always has a fair amount of st parts. New pull-offs, and he is great to deal with, give a great shipping discount if you buy multiple items, you just have to wait till he sends you an invoice for the best price.

DOH!
Thank you for contacting us.
We have a pretty good selection of parts availability. The X2CRT will probably end up being a better kit because it is going to be new and better developed. We will carry all of the supporting parts for that kit.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Please use this link to rate the response you received in this email.
Sincerely,

How are you generally for parts on for the hyper ST?

I?m debating this or the X2CRT when it comes out in a month. I don?t want to get something that I will have problems with.

Thanks,

Chris
