Bunnings have velcro roll stuff with hook on one side loop on the other. A bit harder to get tight but it seems pretty tough not that I have been able to test it.

I hate bunnings but sometimes I can't avoid it.

Head down to your local upolstry shop and get some industrial use velcro. I use to build boats and we used it there the only way you will break that is with a knife plus it has huge holding power.

Went to Bunnings but they only had small rolls that you wrap around electrical cable. Have to try a few more shops tomorrow

Thats the stuff I think I am using but it is an inch wide.
