check your software and make sure you have 3.05 for Castlink and V1.17 for the firmware you can pull up the MambaMax software on your computer to find out

if you plug your mamba max controller into the PC and click the folder in the castle link program that says software it will tell you firmware= v1.17 or 1.16 or older, The icon on your PC for the castlelink shoud say v3.051 under the castlelink symbol. He is saying the firmware v1.17 has fixed alot of cogging issues and to make sure you are updated to the latest version 1.17. Yes i type too much

What's the gearing in the MBX5T? Is it a similar final drive ratio to what you used in the revo? Overgearing can be one thing that causes cogging.
The mm software could help for sure, but if the same setup worked without cogging in the revo then I'd also look for things that could have changed when putting in the mugen, like the gearing, smoothness of the drive train, and that none of the plugs and connections are loose.
