i agree with dad. seriously, that extra cooling would probably add to the efficiency, and you would probably get a longer life out of the MM that if you had no fan...

4s on MM in 3905 with Neu 1512 1Y, geared 18/68 (with CC BEC) runs in the 140s with twin fans and holes in the case. Loose one fan and it thermals in a couple of minutes, so I'd say the twin fans are what I need on mine. Heat increases resistance in electrical circuits/systems. If you can keep it cooler, you will waste less power on internal resistance, which will cause more heat as resistance goes up. Do the fans IMO.
